General information: Please bring your own lunch. Water and drinks will be available for purchase. There is a portable toilet available on the range. There is no clubhouse facility at the range.

Location and Directions: The range is located on the Hwy 25 bypass South of Heber Springs, 200 yards East of the Hwy 25 Business turnoff. The range is on the North side of the road.

On Match Dates the gate will be open.

Cleburne County Shooting Club 2007 NRA Approved Rifle Matches

Sponsored by: Cleburne County Shooting Club, Rifle Division
Location & Directions: The range is located on the Hwy 25 bypass South of Heber Springs, 200 yards East of the Hwy 25 business turn-off. The range is on the north side of the hwy.
Competition Open To: All shooters. Need not be a member of the NRA. Membership applications will be available.
Entry Fee: $12.00 (Cleburne County Shooting Club Members), $15.00 (non-club members), $10.00 for juniors.
Entries Close: 9 AM date of match
Firing Starts: First relay starts at 9:00AM with follow on relays as required.
Firearms Authorized: All rifles must meet NRA rules.
Course of fire:

NRA 800 point match. All firing will be at 100 yards. 

Standing Slow Fire: 2 sighters and 20 shots for record, 22 minutes total time. 

Rapid fire, Standing to Sitting: 2 sighters followed by two strings of 10 shots in 60 seconds. A reload is required.

Rapid Fire, Standing to Prone: 2 sighters followed by two strings of 10 shots in 70 seconds. A reload is required.

Prone Slow Fire: 2 sighters and 20 shots for record. 22 minutes total time.

Targets:

Standing slow fire and standing to sitting rapid fire: SR-21
Standing to prone rapid fire: SR-21
Prone Slow Fire: MR-31

Rules: NRA rules will apply. NRA classification system will be used. The match sponsor reserves the right to combine classes for award purposes. Master class shooters will not be combined.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the match winner with a first place in each classification with five or more entries. Second place for any classification with seven or more entries. There will be a special award for the high junior if four or more juniors are entered.
Scoring: Relay 3 will score relay 1, relay 1 will score relay 2 and relay 2 will score relay 3.

Cleburne County Shooting Club 2007 John C. Garand Matches

Location & Directions: The range is located on the Hwy 25 bypass South of Heber Springs, 200 yards East of the Hwy 25 business turn-off. The range is on the north side of the hwy.
Competition Open To: Any member of: Any CMP club, NRA or USA Shooting. All competitors must have s notarized "Eligibility Affidavit and Liability Agreement" on file at the Cleburne County Shooting Club or present at registration.
Entry Fee: Entry fee will be $15.00 for non club member, $12.00 for club member and $10.00 for juniors.

Entries Close: 9:00AM date of match
Firing Starts: First relay starts at 10:00AM and follow on relays as required.
Rifles and Ammunition: This match is for as-issued service rifles, (M-1 Garand, M-1 Carbine, 1903/A3 Springfield or P17 Enfield, Krag, Johnson 1914.Juniors will be allowed to shoot the AR. Ammunition will be issued if received from CMP. Otherwise, competitors will furnish. (See entry information.) All ammunition must be military (no match grade) as issued with no armor piercing or incendiary allowed.
Course of Fire: CMP "B" course. The SR-1 target will be used.
A maximum of five (5) sighting shots, any position, five minutes.
String 1:  Twenty (20) shots, slow fire prone position, 20 minutes. Single of each round is mandatory. Sling is permitted.
String 2:  Ten (10) shots, rapid fire, standing to prone. 70 seconds. A clip magazine change or reload is required. Sling is permitted.
String 3:  Ten (10) shots, rapid fire, standing to sitting, 60 seconds. A clip, magazine change or reload is required. Sling is permitted.
String 4:  Ten (10) shots, slow fire standing position. 10 minutes. Single loading of each round is mandatory. The use of the sling is not permitted but the sling must be affixed to the rifle in the fully tight configuration.
Rules: CMP competition rules.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the match winner with an award for every additional five shooters. A special award will be presented to the High Senior and High Junior if there are five or more entries in each of these classes.
Scoring: Relays will score each other. (3 score 1, 1 score 2, 2 score 3, etc).

Cleburne County Shooting Club 2007 SmallBore Matches

Rifles and Ammunition: Any rifle approved under NRA rules.
Course of Fire:

160 Rounds total - prone..
Match 1:  40 shots @ 50 yards, 40 min., Unlimited sighters, & A-23/5 targets.
Match 2:  40 shots @ 50 meters, 40 min., Unlimited sighters, & A-27/5 targets. 
Match 3:  20 shots @ 50 & 100 yards, 40 min, Unlimited sighters & A-23 & 27/5 targets.
Match 4:  40 shots @ 100 yards, 40 min., Unlimited sighters & A-25/5 targets.

Match 5: Aggregate of 1,2,3 &4 Matches

Rules: CCSC competition rules.
Awards: Awards will be presented to the match winner with a 1st place in each classification with five or more entries. 2nd place for any classification with seven or more entries. A special award will be presented to the High Junior if there are four or more entries.
Scoring: Relays will score each other. (3 score 1, 1 score 2, 2 score 3, etc).
